ShortKeeper: Automate regular tasks with keyboard shortcuts

There are two categories of computer users, the first type is the one who relies on the mouse over anything else in all the tasks that he performs on his computer, and the second type is the one who relies on the keyboard and uses shortcuts to speed up tasks and perform many operations in record time. It is the latter type that will concern this post today.

ShortKeeper: Automate regular tasks with keyboard shortcuts

ShortKeeper is a keyboard shortcut manager for automating regular tasks. This tool allows you to perform many of the usual tasks on your computer through keyboard shortcuts, where you can, for example, open a document or a web page, insert or save text, or run any program quickly.

Of course, this tool allows you to modify and delete any shortcut, and this is the difference between "ShortKeeper" and other similar programs that you will find on the Internet.

To create shortcuts, the program includes the "AutoHotkey" platform, which makes it easy to create shortcuts for common tasks. Once you enter the user interface, you will notice that it is divided into three tabs. We will focus on the Shortcuts tab, which has three panels: in the section on the left, the commands will be listed for assigning hotkeys (open document, copy text, paste, save, and so on).

In the middle section, you will select an action or hotkey (associated with the command). For example, if you choose to launch a web page in the command, you will specify in the settings which website to open. In the left part of the interface, the results of the action you have performed will be displayed.

There are no restrictions to add quick access to regular tasks. The only limitation you will find is in the command options because you will not be able to add the command manually.
